Nixon Luvs Da Gays

Sometimes the world just hands you a Contrapositive comic.  I woke up this morning to an e-mail from Harvard Law School's Lambda director:
Just in case you haven't heard the fantastic news of the day, [a federal judge in Massachusetts found Thursday that the Defense of Marriage Act is unconstitutional].
You can find a link to Judge Tauro's opinion on the GLAD website through the link above [I changed it to the NYTimes for effect to be seen later].
Thank you, President Nixon, for having the foresight to appoint such a wise man.

The email concludes:
Hoping this will ease some of your LeBron hangover.
Not that I had any hangup on LeBron--the NYTimes and the rest of New York certainly does--but it's probably better that the country is not focusing on "the gay agenda."

And its state's rights challenge to the Defense of Marriage Act.

Maybe we are starting to enter a phase of "Gay, Whatever Dude."
